I agree that we need to do a better job to infuse both digital/information literacy in all grades and the ethical use of it as well. Unfortunately, the internet didn't come with an instruction manual and so it has taken some experience of us all to figure out both the effectiveness and efficiency of how to best use it - not to mention the ethical use of the web. :)
Electronic notetaking is definitely the way to go with all of our ubiquitous devices. My favorite is to use Evernote but there are many different ones out there. Have you tried one yourself?
